Cardinal Operating Company along with Geo V. Hamilton Contracting, LLC, McCarl’s Inc. and MPW Environmental Services, Inc. recently celebrated a safety achievement. Matt Fomenko, Jerry Beranek, and Jeff King recently attend the 25th Annual Zero Injury Safety Awards Gala in Washington, DC on October 16. The National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee holds the Gala each year in October. This is the most prestigious safety award program in the construction industry. Contractors, Building Trades and Business Owners, such as Cardinal, are recognized at this event if they meet specific criteria outlined by the NMAPC. To be considered for the award, Contractors must have a written company safety program that is committed to achieving a Zero Injuries, work hours must be worked under the terms of the National Maintenance Agreement, work hours must be submitted for the previous calendar year and verified by the Business Owner, and have zero OSHA recordable injuries and/or DART cases. Geo V. Hamilton Contracting, Inc. McCarl’s Inc., and MPW Environmental Services, Inc. have and continue to perform maintenance work at the Cardinal Plant.
Notably, Geo V. Hamilton Contracting, LLC and Cardinal Operating Company received a Gold Star Award for working 1,004,825 work hours at the Cardinal Plant. Geo V. Hamilton Contracting, LLC was one of the five contractors to receive this prestigious award.
